Ex-Student's Reunion 2006
Glimpse of the first ever Ex-Students' Reunion of Uttarpara Children's Own Home in 2006

about us

In 2006, a long nurtured dream came into reality. Against all odds, the long-awaited "Ex Students' Association" was finally formed.

Even in its infancy, the announcement was absolutely loud and clear! Immediately after the formation, the-then committee decided to host the first ever Ex-Students' Reunion of our school, what we call our second home!

It sounded great, but the task ahead was Herculean! It became even more challenging since the newly formed committee had very little to no experience of organizing an event of this scale that time!

But, the willpower was there! They crossed all hurdles, negotiated all challenges and pushed their own limits. By leaving enormous dedication, tireless efforts and many sleepless nights behind, the organizers presented us a grand first-ever Ex-Students' Reunion of our school in 2006.

This beautiful journey had started in 2006. It neither stopped nor looked back since then! Rather, it kept going and growing with every year passed by!

But, beside all happy moments, there are bitter truths of life what we have to swallow! Between 2021 and 2022, within a period of less than one year, we lost three rare Gems of our school.

Debasish Aansh, Koustuv Barman and Soumen Banerjee left us for their heavenly abode. All we have now are their memories! How can we forget that these beautiful minds are amongst those pioneers who stepped forward and brought this association into a reality. We show our heartfelt gratitude and extend our deepest condolences to their families.
